So I made a some research on some Youtube mini animations, here are the interesting ones that I found

So this is a video named MAN on YouTube by Steve Cutts. In this video he showed how man is careless and somehow selfish towards nature and at the end he also showed how the world will become if we keep on acting this way towards nature. In the end he showed aliens that came and treated the man the same way he was treating nature. I think this is to remind us one day we might fall on some intelligence better than us. For the background he used a dark yellowish colour and black and white during the ending to bring up a kind of toxic negative atmosphere. As for his character he has a proud and carefree face to show how man can be egoist sometimes.

This second video, also by the same guy, talks more about how we strive for material comfort. I really like how it depicts the materialistic world in this one, the way they are all rats and he also made them seem like they are walking on each other when they are in a crowd. I also really like how the animation style changed in the middle when he took anti depressants. In this video he also showed that running towards material comfort will bring you no good. However the reason why he chose rats instead of humans is quite unclear though, but my guess is that he wants to say that we are worth not better than rats if we like that.

On this one the illustration style is very simple, and it seems like he did not animate it by drawing each scenes, it seems more like he used tween or pegs to move each body parts, there's also no squash and stretch in his animation. For the background he used an orange colour that really bring to life this poor and ancient time. It also make the black figures pop out more. In the story it shows the greed of man.

This animation however it's pretty hard to really understand what it interprets. To me it seems like it shows how deep is the love between a daughter and a father. It also somehow shows how it's hard to turn the page when you lost someone very important to you, it affects you so much that you are willing to keep watering a dead stick everyday just because that person wanted to see a green tree. But for the man it was a way to keep the memory of his child alive and it's how he has been able to cope with his lost somehow. I also really like the animation style on this one, the characters and the background fits well together even if the characters have line arts and a flat shades compare the background which has almost no line art and blended shadings. I also really like the kind of crayon texture on the brush they used. I also really like how they made the tree move at the very end of the video with that crayon texture.

(this animation for some reasons I was not able to post it here so here's the link to it)

In this animation it talks about indoctrination which is very well represented in this video by the huge glass pouring it's wine, which in this case represents his knowledge and belief, into the smaller glasses, which are his followers, and he kind of turn them into himself somehow after the pouring. However it shows how not agreeing to go with the flow can totally turn the table around. As for the animation style I really like how the animator uses squash and stretch and kept the lines kind of messy, this make the animation looks more fluid and organic somehow.
