Based on the comments I've got during the presentation I've tried to find ways to make my idea better and I also tried explore other things as well.
So I got the idea to make it as a product and design a website to sell it, I made some research on what kind of website people prefer and I found that it's better to go simple and respect a 3 click rule where the viewer will obtain what he need on the 3rd click. I also found that people don't really like websites will lots of writings and they will not really read, they will mostly do a quick scan for what they are looking for.
I also took a look on some websites that's selling only a few or just 1 product because my idea will be selling just 1 product.
Boot Bananas's website is really easy to go through and has explain their product well on their about. They also has a map of everywhere where they have stores in the world.
S Bottles's website is really well designed too and has a fun illustration of their bottles that moves as you scroll through the website. They also has a well description of their products with some animated illustrations too.
Revols is even more simpler and has the product description in videos mostly. It has some nice illustrations and pictures too.
Other than that I tried to study some apps
This is the first app I tried, It gives you a 30 day plan of what you eat with a shopping list for every week. It also monitors your water intake and you can reset it and start over too. It's really simple and easy but however it doesn't give you much choice for what to eat and doesn't give you the recipes so it might not be very convenient for people who doesn't cook
This one has the very useful feature that allows you to get recipes based on ingredients that you search. And it's mostly a recipe app, not like the other one which has a plan and shopping list. It has different other ways to search for recipes. It doesn't have any sweet recipe except for a pumpkin cookie that sweetened only with pumpkin.
This one is a detox app. It has a shopping list and a diet plan like the first one. It has some useful tips and advice for when you're doing the detox and it also has details why a sugar detox is good. Looking at this app this gave me the idea to make a challenge app so I searched for challenge apps.
Well all the challenge app that I found were exercise app but well this one is very simple and as it's exercise it has resting days too and you can reset the challenge also.
And then there's this one same thing, just with more exercises and not just plank.
With these I got the Idea to make an app which will have the diet plan and the shopping list but will also provide the recipes also and will give you reminders to drink water.
And to make it more interesting I also got the idea to make it a challenge to see how long you can hold without eating sugar. To make it fun and to attract youngsters decided to put the option where you can take pictures of everything that you are eating during the challenged and when you want to stop the challenge the app will make a mashup of all the picture and give you your score just like when you play android games.
So new semester started and when I had my first tutorial and my lecturer told me that I can still keep my initial idea but I just need to change my target audience and some stuffs to make it for children. because adults would not really have time or want to spend time trying to do their own sugar but it would be a fun experience for children. So I'm going to keep the idea and adjust some stuffs to make it a children kit.
