So we got a project from Sitecore to make a a welcome card for their new employees. The main focus for this project was to make it not very formal in a way that it will make the employees feel at ease and also include some IT elements. They also wanted something special about it like a pop up thing or something like that.

So here's a few of my work I sketched some illustration that will reflect joy as it's a welcome card and these are usually very joyful in a celebrating type of way. I also tried some design that may reflect the IT part of the Sitecore company. I also tried some mechanism to make the card interactive because they did not wanted a normal card. I even tried some arrangement/ layout for the card.
After I had tutorial, my lecturer told me to try and make hand made mock ups of some proper Ideas.

So I came up with all these ideas/mock ups which after I presented to my lecturer she told me to concentrate more on the second idea and make it an open and close card with a die cut in it.
Then I came up with all of these designs. It was quite easy to filter out, I just took out the odd ones because I just did the designs without even thinking if it would be odd or not.
Then we got instructions for the Sitecore Identity guidelines and I had to do few adjustments and then I came up with some printed mock ups.
I made it of different colours. We also had a meeting with the client at this point and he told me that the IT element was missing in it and he told me if I could add a command prompt screen thing. And also my lecturer told me to make it bigger in size, at lease A5

So I had to change the design completely so I decided to make few sketches of it.

So here's the final mock up which I did after learning how to use InDesign.

And here's the digital work.
