So i made a mind map of the things that I like and think could become one of my potential topics and I got 5. But then I narrowed it down to 3 because we were ask to propose only 3. I chose the ones that I could research more and that seems more possible in my opinion.
So first there one interesting idea that I got while listening to people and it's "Are all religion different path to the same god?". Being someone who really despised racism I thought that it could be a good opportunity to use that to address the problem of racism and make people think about it and also research more on the idea of it as it's something that always intrigued me. I heard of similarities between Hinduism, Muslims and Christians like for example there's Brahma who could be Ibrahim from the Quran who is Abraham from the Bible. And also I heard mention of the great flood from Abrahamic religion in other ancient religion like Summerians. And also another thing that intrigued me about this subject was that all religions teaches us the same thing, to respect others and live properly.
My second topic is from research I made last semester which I did not get the chance to explore further which is about modern technologies that are supposed to be more eco-friendly. I saw research on people switching to organic materials to design products that already exists and also redesigning of bricks with hole that plants can grow through them so that even though we are building new houses, there will still be a lot of plants to keep the amount of oxygen in the air constant. So my aim for this one is to target the inform my audience about these and let them know weather these technologies would really save the planet or not, so I will also research if these practices will be efficient or not, and also, if yes, then I also want to provide the audience with where there need to be improvements so that we really can switch to only eco-friendly materials/ ways to do things.
And lastly the 3rd topic I chose it about Human Centric Design. And this is just because I want to learn more about it through research and case studies just to improve myself and I thought that this project could be a good opportunity to do that. I want to try to come up with a set of steps on how to be successful in Human Centered Design and I aim to encourage young or aspiring designers about making good products or services. This is also to encourage designers not to only focus on advertising things that already exists, which I though I would be doing before starting this course, but to be more creative and solve bigger issues.
