Our Theme was Sustainable + Design = Life + People: What are our needs to make life-centered designs more possible?

This is our research compiled, so we found that plastic bottles are a great issues and causes a lot of pollutions and almost all plastic bottles does not get recycled. So we decided to try to find a solution to it.

We wanted to change it's purpose so that it could be reused for food but we found that they cannot be reused as they release a lot of toxins and grows bacteria. So we decided to change the design of the bottles so that they will be used as decorations after wards

And based on Dhanesha's design one of our group members Zuhura, got the idea to make a sort of aquatic look because marine life is the most affected by plastic wastes

And after that we decided to go with Dhanesha's designs and make them like a coupons in malls, like you collect 5 of this animal and you can get something for free or at a discounted price. And when exchanging the bottles as coupons the bottles will go to recycle, therefore this will benefits areas where there are not recycle bins. At the same time they are also very decorative and will this is so that people will be able to keep them as decorations in their houses.
