Project Ideas

So after discussing and exploring several ideas we decided that our 5 collaterals are going to be:

1. Banners around the are to guide people to the event

2. A Guerilla style of campaign with cut out of the dogs around the dataran merdeka and the city to share more awareness and for people to be able to donate easily

3. Leaflets in the shape of a fan

4. A website to tie everything up and give more details about the cause and the event

5. A bracelet for people who came at the event to encourage people to come to the event

Here's a little sketch of how the banner is going to be, the dog is going to point the direction towards the event and will talk in speech bubbles

Here's a little mock up I made just to get an idea, and after tutorial with our lecturer, he told us that it looks dull and not very happy and does not really fit the theme we are going for. He also said to put less writings on it so I think I am going to remove the detail part and change the colours a bit to make it looks happier. He also told us to make a logo for the event.

The guerilla is inspired by the Ikea Home for Hope campaign and we decided to make full size print of the dogs to be displayed on the street close to each other and each will have a qr code to donate money and a link to the website. This one is an old idea, we decided to reject the idea of having a leaflet together with the cut outs because it's going to be too much as there will already be the link to the website for people to get informed.

For the leaflet we decided to inspire ourselves from these chinese paper fans and make a leaflet inside it. But we decided to make it in the shape of a paws.

And here is the sketch for the bracelet. the heart is also going to be our emblem for the project. it's symbolises the missing human affection in dog's heart in Malaysia. but after tutorial we decided to change the style of the bracelet to make it more unisex and also to decrease cost.

We choose Valera Round for all the informative stuffs because it's similar to what paws uses on their websites and we choose Schoolbell for the speech bubbles. As for the event name I forgot to mention that we decided to go with our group name itself Fund Bow-wow because bow wow means imitation of a dog bark which tells the story of our event, grow the love for dogs in Malaysia.
