I help building up the concept/story behind the project which is a movement to try to make Malaysians feel empathy towards dogs.
And based on the case studies that I made (https://naahseek.wixsite.com/naseebahseek/post/research-on-animal-campaigns) I found that it will be better to organize an event where people will be able to have fun and interact with the animals. This way it will be more impactful and also campaigns like these were more successful. I also suggested the idea of making some games/events where Muslims will be able to play with the dogs without touching them so that it become an event for everyone and this idea was further developed by Adeeb, Dhanesha and Mardhiah. I also got the idea to make the event in a park because there are a lot in Malaysia and the location was decided by Adeeb and Mardhiah.
To keep the Identity of both Maybank and Paws, I suggested that we use the same yellow color of Maybank and the same Blue color of Paws but because both of them were too bold and not giving off the "fun" vibes that, the other group members change the colors to make them more joyful.
After deciding these I got the idea to make a guerilla campaign with full size printed dog standees in the city which is an idea inspired by Ikea Home for Hope campaign

The idea behind the Guerilla Advertisement is to get Malaysians to get used to be around dogs and see them in their best happy/playful mood and also to get more people to donate and to advertise the event also.
And I also got the idea to make banners where the dogs will be giving direction to go to the event which is an idea that came to me when I saw this Mcdonalds Ad

Afterward when Adeeb was searching for locations for the banners we decided to make 2 types of banners, 1 giving direction and 1 just for advertisement purposes, the main difference is just what the dog will be saying. Another reason why we chose the to make 2 banners was to reach a larger audience as the direction banners will only be able to be placed around Dataran Merdeka.
For our logo because it's should be fun and happy I decided to make a handwritten font using the color pallet that we chose.
This was the first arrangement of the logo

But then I had to change it to make it fit the 5 collaterals better.

The paws and the heart are illustrations Mardhiah made and for the arrangement of the logo I got help from Dhanesha, and we chose this arrangement together so that it will fit better everywhere in all our 5 collaterals.
Because the Guerilla and the Banners where my ideas, I decided to work on them myself.
For the Guerilla it was a great opportunity for me to play with photoshop and learn to merge pictures together, First I did the board that is going to be on the dog
There are 4 different saying 4 different things for 4 different dogs. I also used those circles which was Dhanesha's idea to make her website look more joyful to make my work too look more joyful and included Maybank and Paws's logos along with the website link.
After that I had to remove the back ground for different dogs and I make the board look 3D by using rectangles that I transformed and I also added a hard light layer over it to make it look part of the photograph and added a shadow to it.
After that I looked for a rope picture on google without background and used the wrap transform tool to wrap it around the dogs' neck. I also had to edit the colors and stuffs with a camera raw filter to make it look part of the photograph and also added a shadow too.
For the banners it was simpler, I only had to remove the background and add a shadow and that's all for the dogs. As for the banner I used the circles again because they really make a difference and make the banners look more fun and happy. I also got a little help from Dhanesha for the layout because at first the arrangement of the logo was different but then I had to change it to make it fit Dhanesha's Website and the other collaterals. And for the lettering it's Schoolbell which was decided by Mardhiah to also give the happy vibes. These are the direction Banners. They are of different shapes so that they could be fit around certain banner spots that Adeeb choose.
I also had to make some research on the date so that it does not intersect with Malaysia's Independence Day which is celebrated at Dataran Merdeka. And I choose a range of date where there will be no public holidays in Selangore. I also got the idea to make it a whole month so that we can collect a lot more donations and be more impactful.
And these are the regular banners which the difference is on what the dogs are saying and is just to promote the event to reach a larger audience.
